Sahih Bukhari 3019 – English Translation
I heard Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) saying, "An ant bit a Prophet amongst the Prophets, and he ordered that the place of the ants be burnt. So, Allah inspired to him, 'It is because one ant bit you that you burnt a nation amongst the nations that glorify Allah?"
Sahih Bukhari 3019 – Urdu Translation
میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے ‘ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فرما رہے تھے کہ ایک چیونٹی نے ایک نبی ( عزیر یا موسیٰ علیہ السلام ) کو کاٹ لیا تھا ۔ تو ان کے حکم سے چیونٹیوں سے سارے گھر جلا دئیے گئے ۔ اس پر اللہ تعالیٰ نے ان کے پاس وحی بھیجی کہ اگر تمہیں ایک چیونٹی نے کاٹ لیا تھا تو تم نے ایک ایسی خلقت کو جلا کر خاک کر دیا جو اللہ کی تسبیح بیان کرتی تھی ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3019 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَقُولُ " قَرَصَتْ نَمْلَةٌ نَبِيًّا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ، فَأَمَرَ بِقَرْيَةِ النَّمْلِ فَأُحْرِقَتْ، فَأَوْحَى اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ أَنْ قَرَصَتْكَ نَمْلَةٌ أَحْرَقْتَ أُمَّةً مِنَ الأُمَمِ تُسَبِّحُ اللَّهِ."
