Sahih Bukhari 5966 – English Translation
The worst of three (persons riding one, animal) was mentioned in `Ikrima's presence `Ikrima said, "Ibn `Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما said, '(In the year of the conquest of Mecca) the Prophet (ﷺ) came and mounted Qutham in front of him and Al-Fadl behind him, or Qutham behind him and Al-Fadl in front of him.' Now which of them was the worst off and which was the best?"
Sahih Bukhari 5966 – Urdu Translation
عکرمہ کے سامنے یہ ذکر آیا کہ تین آدمی جو ایک جانور پر چڑھیں اس میں کون بہت برا ہے ۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے کہا کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ( مکہ مکرمہ ) تشریف لائے تو آپ قثم بن عباس کو اپنی سواری پر آگے اور فضل بن عباس کو پیچھے بٹھا ئے ہوئے تھے ۔ یا قثم پیچھے تھے اور فضل آگے تھے ( رضی اللہ عنہم ) اب تم ان میں سے کسے برا کہو گے اور کسے اچھا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5966 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، ذُكِرَ الأَشَرُّ الثَّلاَثَةُ عِنْدَ عِكْرِمَةَ فَقَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ أَتَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَقَدْ حَمَلَ قُثَمَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، وَالْفَضْلَ خَلْفَهُ، أَوْ قُثَمَ خَلْفَهُ، وَالْفَضْلَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، فَأَيُّهُمْ شَرٌّ أَوْ أَيُّهُمْ خَيْرٌ.
