You offer a prayer which I did not see being offered by Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) when we were in his company and he certainly had forbidden it (i.e. two rak`at after the `Asr prayer).
انھوں نے فرمایا کہ تم لوگ تو ایک ایسی نماز پڑھتے ہو کہ ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی صحبت میں رہے لیکن ہم نے کبھی آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو وہ نماز پڑھتے نہیں دیکھا ۔ بلکہ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے تو اس سے منع فرمایا تھا ۔ حضرت معاویہ رضی اللہ عنہ کی مراد عصر کے بعد دو رکعتوں سے تھی ۔ ( جسے آپ کے زمانہ میں بعض لوگ پڑھتے تھے ) ۔
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبَانَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا غُنْدَرٌ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمْرَانَ بْنَ أَبَانَ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ، قَالَ إِنَّكُمْ لَتُصَلُّونَ صَلاَةً، لَقَدْ صَحِبْنَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَمَا رَأَيْنَاهُ يُصَلِّيهَا، وَلَقَدْ نَهَى عَنْهُمَا، يَعْنِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ بَعْدَ الْعَصْرِ.
