Sahih Bukhari 5171 – English Translation
The marriage of Zainab bint Jahash رضی اللہ عنہا was mentioned in the presence of Anas رضی اللہ عنہ and he said, "I did not see the Prophet (ﷺ) giving a better banquet on marrying any of his wives than the one he gave on marrying Zainab. He then gave a banquet with one sheep."

انس رضی اللہ عنہ کے سامنے زینب بنت جحش رضی اللہ عنہا کے نکاح کا ذکر کیا گیا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان کے جیسا اپنی بیویوں میں سے کسی کے لئے ولیمہ کرتے نہیں دیکھا ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان کا ولیمہ ایک بکری سے کیا تھا ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ ذُكِرَ تَزْوِيجُ زَيْنَبَ ابْنَةِ جَحْشٍ عِنْدَ أَنَسٍ فَقَالَ مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَوْلَمَ عَلَى أَحَدٍ مِنْ نِسَائِهِ مَا أَوْلَمَ عَلَيْهَا أَوْلَمَ بِشَاةٍ.
