Sahih Bukhari 3690 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Whilst a shepherd was amongst his sheep, a wolf attacked them and took away a sheep. The shepherd chased it and got that sheep freed from the wolf. The wolf turned towards the shepherd and said, 'Who will guard the sheep on the day of wild animals when it will have no shepherd except myself?" The people said, "Glorified be Allah." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "But I believe in it and so do Abu Bakr and `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ although Abu Bakr and `Umar رضی اللہ عنہ were not present there (at the place of the event).
Sahih Bukhari 3690 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ایک چرواہا اپنی بکریاں چرا رہا تھا کہ ایک بھیڑئیے نے اس کی ایک بکری پکڑلی ۔ چرواہے نے اس کا پیچھا کیا اور بکری کو اس سے چھڑا لیا ۔ پھر بھیڑیا اس کی طرف متوجہ ہو کر بولا : درندوں کے دن اس کی حفاظت کرنے والا کون ہو گا ؟ جب میرے سوا اس کا کوئی چرواہا نہ ہو گا ۔ صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم اس پر بول اٹھے : سبحان اللہ ! آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ میں اس واقعہ پر ایمان لایا اور ابوبکرو عمر رضی اللہ عنہما بھی ۔ حالانکہ وہاں ابوبکر وعمر رضی اللہ عنہما موجود نہیں تھے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3690 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنَا عُقَيْلٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَأَبِي، سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ قَالاَ سَمِعْنَا أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " بَيْنَمَا رَاعٍ فِي غَنَمِهِ عَدَا الذِّئْبُ فَأَخَذَ مِنْهَا شَاةً، فَطَلَبَهَا حَتَّى اسْتَنْقَذَهَا، فَالْتَفَتَ إِلَيْهِ الذِّئْبُ فَقَالَ لَهُ مَنْ لَهَا يَوْمَ السَّبُعِ، لَيْسَ لَهَا رَاعٍ غَيْرِي". فَقَالَ النَّاسُ سُبْحَانَ اللَّهِ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " فَإِنِّي أُومِنُ بِهِ وَأَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ " وَمَا ثَمَّ أَبُو بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرُ.
