The prostration of Sa`d is not a compulsory one but I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) prostrating while reciting it.

سورۃ ص کا سجدہ کچھ تاکیدی سجدوں میں سے نہیں ہے اور میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو سجدہ کرتے ہوئے دیکھا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1069 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ حَرْبٍ، وَأَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، قَالاَ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ {ص} لَيْسَ مِنْ عَزَائِمِ السُّجُودِ، وَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْجُدُ فِيهَا.
