Sahih Bukhari 2779 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said (at the time of building the Mosque), "O Ban, An-Najjar! Suggest to me a price for your garden." They replied, "We do not ask its price except from Allah."
Sahih Bukhari 2779 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا اے بنو نجار ! تم اپنے باغ کی قیمت مجھ سے وصول کر لو تو انہوں نے عرض کیا کہ ہم اس کی قیمت اللہ تعالیٰ کے سوا کسی سے نہیں چاہتے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " يَا بَنِي النَّجَّارِ ثَامِنُونِي بِحَائِطِكُمْ ". قَالُوا لاَ نَطْلُبُ ثَمَنَهُ إِلاَّ إِلَى اللَّهِ.
