Sahih Bukhari 5868 – English Translation
He saw a silver ring on the hand of Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) for one day only. Then the people had silver rings made for themselves and wore it. On that, Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) threw away their rings as well. (For the details of this Hadith, see Fath-ul-Bari). Similarly, Ibrahim bin Sa'd, Ziyad, and Shobah reported from Zuhri. And Ibn-e-Mussafir has reported from Zuhri: I saw silver ring.
Sahih Bukhari 5868 – Urdu Translation
انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ہاتھ میں ایک دن چاندی کی انگوٹھی دیکھی پھر دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی چاندی کی انگوٹھیاں بنوانی شروع کر دیں اور پہننے لگے تو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنی انگوٹھی پھینک دیں اور دوسرے لوگوں نے بھی اپنی انگوٹھیاں پھینک دی ۔ اس روایت کی متابعت ابراہیم بن سعد ، زیاد اور شعیب نے زہری سے کی ہے اور ابن مسافر نے زہری سے بیان کیا کہ میرا خیال ہے کہ ” خاتما من ورق “ بیان کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5868 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي يَحْيَى بْنُ بُكَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ يُونُسَ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ رَأَى فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ يَوْمًا وَاحِدًا، ثُمَّ إِنَّ النَّاسَ اصْطَنَعُوا الْخَوَاتِيمَ مِنْ وَرِقٍ وَلَبِسُوهَا، فَطَرَحَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَاتَمَهُ، فَطَرَحَ النَّاسُ خَوَاتِيمَهُمْ. تَابَعَهُ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ وَزِيَادٌ وَشُعَيْبٌ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ. وَقَالَ ابْنُ مُسَافِرٍ عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ أَرَى خَاتَمًا مِنْ وَرِقٍ.
