Sahih Bukhari 1606 – English Translation
"I have never missed the touching of these two stones of Ka`ba (the Black Stone and the Yemenite Corner) both in the presence and the absence of crowds, since I saw the Prophet (ﷺ) touching them." I asked Nafi`: "Did Ibn `Umar رضی اللہ عنہما use to walk between the two Corners?" Nafi` replied, "He used to walk in order that it might be easy for him to touch it (the Corner Stone)."
Sahih Bukhari 1606 – Urdu Translation
جب سے میں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کو ان دونوں رکن یمانی کو چومتے ہوئے دیکھا میں نے بھی اس کے چومنے کو خواہ سخت حالات ہوں یا نرم نہیں چھوڑا ۔ میں نے نافع سے پوچھا کیا ابن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما ان دونوں یمنی رکنوں کے درمیان معمول کے مطابق چلتے تھے ؟ تو انہوں نے بتایا کہ آپ معمول کے مطابق اس لیے چلتے تھے تاکہ حجراسود کو چھونے میں آسانی رہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1606 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ مَا تَرَكْتُ اسْتِلاَمَ هَذَيْنِ الرُّكْنَيْنِ فِي شِدَّةٍ وَلاَ رَخَاءٍ، مُنْذُ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَسْتَلِمُهُمَا. قُلْتُ لِنَافِعٍ أَكَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَمْشِي بَيْنَ الرُّكْنَيْنِ قَالَ إِنَّمَا كَانَ يَمْشِي لِيَكُونَ أَيْسَرَ لاِسْتِلاَمِهِ.
