Sahih Bukhari 3211 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "On every Friday the angels take their stand at every gate of the mosque to write the names of the people chronologically (i.e. according to the time of their arrival for the Friday prayer) and when the Imam sits (on the pulpit) they fold up their scrolls and get ready to listen to the sermon."
Sahih Bukhari 3211 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جب جمعہ کا دن آتا ہے تو مسجد کے ہر دروازے پر فرشتے کھڑے ہو جاتے ہیں اور سب سے پہلے آنے والے اور پھر اس کے بعد آنے والوں کو نمبر وار لکھتے جاتے ہیں ۔ پھر جب امام ( خطبے کے لیے منبر پر ) بیٹھ جاتا ہے تو یہ فرشتے اپنے رجسٹر بند کر لیتے ہیں اور ذکر سننے لگ جاتے ہیں ۔ ( یہ حدیث کتاب الجمعہ میں مذکور ہو چکی ہے یہاں فرشتوں کا وجود ثابت کرنا مقصود ہے )
Sahih Bukhari 3211 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، وَالأَغَرِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِذَا كَانَ يَوْمُ الْجُمُعَةِ كَانَ عَلَى كُلِّ باب مِنْ أَبْوَابِ الْمَسْجِدِ الْمَلاَئِكَةُ، يَكْتُبُونَ الأَوَّلَ فَالأَوَّلَ، فَإِذَا جَلَسَ الإِمَامُ طَوَوُا الصُّحُفَ وَجَاءُوا يَسْتَمِعُونَ الذِّكْرَ ".
