Mola Ali shadat: Hakim 4590

Mola Ali shadat: Hakim 4590

Muslims revere Ali ibn Abi Talib (علی ابن ابی طالب علیہ السلام), the cousin and son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ), for his unwavering faith and courage. Today, we delve into a powerful hadith (saying) that sheds light on Ali’s remarkable character in the face of adversity.

The Hadith: A Testament to Strength

The narration comes from Abu Sufyan ad-Dawli, who visits Ali after he sustains a wound. Witnessing Ali’s injury, Abu Sufyan expresses his concern. Ali’s response, however, is one of remarkable composure and trust in Allah’s plan.

Here is the translation in English:

Abu Sufyan ad-Dawli reported: Ali was wounded, and I went to visit him. I said, “O Commander of the faithful, we are grieved by your wound!” Ali said, “By God, I am not grieved by it, for the truthful and trustworthy Messenger of God (ﷺ) informed me that I would be wounded in this spot” – and he pointed to his forehead – “and that blood would flow from it until it dyed my beard red. The one who martyred me from this nation will be the most wretched one of it, just as the one who hamstrung the she-camel was the most wretched one of the Thamud.”

English Text

According to Buraida al-Aslami (رضي الله عنه), he accompanied Ali (رضي الله عنه) on a military expedition to Yemen. Witnessing something that he perceived as objectionable in Ali’s (رضي الله عنه) actions, Buraida (رضي الله عنه) approached the Prophet (ﷺ) and spoke about Ali (رضي الله عنه) in a critical manner. The Prophet’s (ﷺ) expression changed upon hearing this, and he delivered a powerful statement: “O Buraida! Am I not more entitled to the believers than themselves?” Buraida (رضي الله عنه) acknowledged this truth, and the Prophet (ﷺ) continued, “Whoever I am a wali (a master, a friend, a helper) to, then Ali is his wali (a master, a friend, helper).”

Mola ALI(AS) Quran ke sath | Mustadrak al-Hakim 4628

Mola ALI(AS) Quran ke sath | Mustadrak al-Hakim 4628:

(Abu Thabit, the mawla (client) of Abu Dharr said,) “I was with ‘Ali radiya Llahu ‘anhu on the Day (of the Battle) of the Camel. When I saw ‘Aʾishah standing, some of that (doubt) which entered other people (also) entered me. Allah disclosed that for me (i.e. removed from me the reservations I had to fight) at the time of Salat al Zuhr and so I fought alongside Amir al Muʾminin. When he finished, I proceeded to Madinah. I came to Umm Salamah and said, ‘I have come, by Allah, not asking for food or drink; rather, I am the mawla (client) of Abu Dharr.’ She said, ‘Welcome.’ I told her my story and so she said, ‘Where were you when the hearts flew their course (i.e. when the fighting broke out)?’ I said, ‘I was such that Allah disclosed it for me (i.e. removed the reservations I had) at noon (and then I went to fight alongside Amir al Muʾminin).’ She said, ‘Excellent! I heard the Messenger of Allah salla Llahu ‘alayhi wa sallam say: ‘‘Ali is with the Quran and the Quran is with Ali. They will never separate until they meet me at the Hawd (Cistern).’”[Mustadrak al Hakim 4628]

Hazrat Ali(AS) ko Mola kehna? – Tirmizi 3173

Meaning of Mola:

In the name of Allah, the most grecious and the most merciful, Unlimited darood and salam on the Holy Prophet(PBUH) and his ahl-e-Bait(AS).

Assalamu’alaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh, beautiful people, the word Mola or Mawla or Maula, is causing confusion for some of our Muslim brothers and sisters, in relation to this word they sometimes negate sahih Hadith of Holy Prophet(PBUH). I want to clear this confusion after discussing or learning from renowned Scholars of this time.
First, be clear, we can use Mola to give someone respect, like we use to say Molana to our Scholars. Secondly Allah the almighty use this word Mola with him and Jabreil(AS) and also for Momins, please read this Quranic Ayat below(66:4), the surah name is Tahreem.
Second we have a lot of Hadith in which Prophet(PBUH) use word Mola for himself and Mola Ali(AS), I mentioned some hadith below with full references. Here Mola means the most beloed one. Prophet(PBUH) and Mola Ali(AS) are the most beloved one personalities in Islam. Please read these hadith and increase your faith.

If you two [wives] repent to Allah, [it is best], for your hearts have deviated. But if you cooperate against him – then indeed Allah is his protector(mola), and Gabriel and the righteous of the believers and the angels, moreover, are [his] assistants.[66:4]

mola for people and angles

The Virtues Of ‘Ali Bin Abi Talib (AS):

2) Yazid b. Hayyan reported, I went along with Husain b. Sabra and ‘Umar b. Muslim to Zaid b. Arqam and, as we sat by his side, Husain said to him:

Zaid. you have been able to acquire a great virtue that you saw Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) listened to his talk, fought by his side in (different) battles, offered prayer behind me. Zaid, you have in fact earned a great virtue. Zaid, narrate to us what you heard from Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ). He said: I have grown old and have almost spent my age and I have forgotten some of the things which I remembered in connection with Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ), so accept whatever I narrate to you, and which I do not narrate do not compel me to do that. He then said: One day Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) stood up to deliver sermon at a watering place known as Khumm situated between Mecca and Medina.

He praised Allah, extolled Him and delivered the sermon and. exhorted (us) and said: Now to our purpose. O people, I am a human being. I am about to receive a messenger (the angel of death) from my Lord and I, in response to Allah’s call, (would bid good-bye to you), but I am leaving among you two weighty things: the one being the Book of Allah in which there is right guidance and light, so hold fast to the Book of Allah and adhere to it. He exhorted (us) (to hold fast) to the Book of Allah and then said: The second are the members of my household I remind you (of your duties) to the members of my family.

He (Husain) said to Zaid: Who are the members of his household? Aren’t his wives the members of his family? Thereupon he said: His wives are the members of his family (but here) the members of his family are those for whom acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. And he said: Who are they? Thereupon he said: ‘Ali(Mola) and the offspring of ‘Ali(Mola), ‘Aqil and the offspring of ‘Aqil and the offspring of Ja’far and the offspring of ‘Abbas. Husain said: These are those for whom the acceptance of Zakat is forbidden. Zaid said: Yes.
