Sahih Bukhari 3377 – English Translation
I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) while referring to the person who had cut the legs of the she-camel (of the Prophet (ﷺ) Salih), saying, "The man who was appointed for doing this job, was a man of honor and power in his nation like Abu Zam`a."
Sahih Bukhari 3377 – Urdu Translation
میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ( خطبہ کے دوران ) آپ نے قوم کا ذکر کیا جنہوں نے اونٹنی کو ذبح کر دیا تھا ۔ آپ نے فرمایا کہ ( خدا کی قسم بھیجی ہوئی ) اس ( اونٹنی کو ) ذبح کرنے والا قوم کا ایک بہت ہی باعزت آدمی ( قیدار نامی ) تھا ‘ جیسے ہمارے زمانے میں ابو زمعہ ( اسود بن مطلب ) ہے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَمْعَةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم. وَذَكَرَ الَّذِي عَقَرَ النَّاقَةَ قَالَ " انْتَدَبَ لَهَا رَجُلٌ ذُو عِزٍّ وَمَنَعَةٍ فِي قُوَّةٍ كَأَبِي زَمْعَةَ ".
