Sahih Bukhari 1553 – English Translation
'Whenever Ibn 'Umar رضی اللہ عنہما finished his morning Salat at Dhul-Hulaifa he would get his Rahila (mount) prepared. Then, he would ride on it, and after it had stood up straight (ready to set out), he would face Al-Qiblah (the Ka,bah at Makkah) while sitting (on his mount) and recite Talbiya. When he had reached the boundaries of the Haram (or Makkah), he would stop recitation of Talbiya till he reached Dhi-Tuwa (near Makkah) where he would pass the night till it was dawn. After offering the morning Salat, he would take a bath. He claimed that Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) had done the same. Ismaieel corroborated him from Ayyub about bath.

عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما جب ذوالحلیفہ میں صبح کی نماز پڑھ چکے تو اپنی اونٹنی پر پالان لگانے کا حکم فرمایا ، سواری لائی گئی تو آپ اس پر سوار ہوئے اور جب وہ آپ کو لے کر کھڑی ہو گئی تو آپ کھڑے ہو کر قبلہ رو ہو گئے اور پھر لبیک کہنا شروع کیا تاآنکہ حرم میں داخل ہو گئے ۔ وہاں پہنچ کر آپ نے لبیک کہنا بند کر دیا ۔ پھرذی طویٰ میں تشریف لا کر رات وہیں گزارتے صبح ہوتی تو نماز پڑھتے اور غسل کرتے ( پھر مکہ میں داخل ہوتے ) آپ یقین کے ساتھ یہ جانتے تھے کہ رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے بھی اسی طرح کیا تھا ۔ عبدالوارث کی طرح اس حدیث کو اسماعیل نے بھی ایوب سے روایت کیا ۔ اس میں غسل کا ذکر ہے ۔

وَقَالَ أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ، قَالَ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ إِذَا صَلَّى بِالْغَدَاةِ بِذِي الْحُلَيْفَةِ أَمَرَ بِرَاحِلَتِهِ فَرُحِلَتْ ثُمَّ رَكِبَ، فَإِذَا اسْتَوَتْ بِهِ اسْتَقْبَلَ الْقِبْلَةَ قَائِمًا، ثُمَّ يُلَبِّي حَتَّى يَبْلُغَ الْمَحْرَمَ، ثُمَّ يُمْسِكُ حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ ذَا طُوًى بَاتَ بِهِ حَتَّى يُصْبِحَ، فَإِذَا صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ اغْتَسَلَ، وَزَعَمَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَعَلَ ذَلِكَ. تَابَعَهُ إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ أَيُّوبَ فِي الْغَسْلِ.
