Sahih Muslim 2695 English Text:
Abu Huraira reported Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) as saying: The uttering of (these words): ” Hallowed be Allah; all praise is due to Allah, there is no god but Allah and Allah is the Greatest,” is dearer to me than anything over which the sun rises.

Asalam-o-alakum, beautiful people, here I am sharing a very strong hadith regarding protection when someone is leaving home, very powerful and after reciting this you will be protected by the Allah the almighty and inshaAllah you will be protected for sure, so read, remember and recite daily in your routine. May Allah guide and protect all of us(Ameen).
Narrated Anas ibn Malik:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said: When a man goes out of his house and says: “In the name of Allah, I trust in Allah; there is no might and no power but in Allah,” the following will be said to him at that time: “You are guided, defended and protected.” The devils will go far from him and another devil will say: How can you deal with a man who has been guided, defended and protected?
The 4 Quls are known as protecting Surahs. Surah Al-Kafiroun and Al-Ikhlas protect from shirk. Surahs Al-Falaq and An-Naas protect from mischief of created things, envy, magic and the whisperings of the shaitaan.
According to the Hadith, Surah Al-Ikhlas reward is equivalent to one third of the Quran while Surah Al-Kafiroun is one quarter.
All the Surahs start with the word ‘Qul’ which in Arabic means ‘say’. Hence the four Surahs are collectively called as ‘the four quls’. Prophet Muhammad(S.A.W) would get revelations from Allah(S.W.T) which would start with the word ‘say’ and he would repeat exactly, the revelations to people.
The 4 Quls start as:
Al-Kafiroun: [109.1] Say: O unbelievers
Al-Ikhlas: [112.1] Say: He is Allah, the One
Al-Falaq: [113.1] Say: I seek refuge with (Allah) the Lord of Daybreak
Narrated Anas bin Malik: that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Whoever recites Idha Zulzilat, it equals half of the Qur’an for him. Whoever recites: Qul Ya Ayyuhal-Kafirun it equals a fourth of the Qur’an for him. And whoever recites: Qul Huwa Allahu Ahad it equals a third of the Qur’an for him.”
Narrated Abdullah ibn Khubayb:
We went out one rainy and intensely dark night to look for the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) to lead us in prayer, and when we found him, he asked: Have you prayed?, but I did not say anything. So he said: Say, but I did not say anything. He again said: Say, but I did not say anything. He then said: Say. So I said: What am I to say? He said: Say: “Say, He is Allah, One,” and al-Mu’awwadhatan three times in the morning and evening; they will serve you for every purpose.

Cure for 99 Diseases:

Abu Musa (R.A) reported: “While we were with Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) in a holy battle, we never went up a hill or reached its peak or went down a valley but raised our voices with Takbeer. Allah’s Messenger (ﷺ) came close to us and said, “O people! Don’t exert yourselves, for you do not call a deaf or an absent one, but you call the All- Listener, the All-Seer.” The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, “O `Abdullah bin Qais! Shall I teach you a sentence which is from the treasures of Paradise? ( It is): ‘La haula wala quwata illa billah’. (There is neither might nor power except with Allah).” [Sahih Bukhari]
Among the occasions on which this phrase is uttered are the following:
When turning over at night:
It was reported that ‘Ubaadah ibn al-Saamit said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever turns over at night and says Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Al-hamdu-lillaah wa subhaan-Allaah wa laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wa Allaahu akbar, wa laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah[لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله] (There is no god but Allaah Alone, with no partner or associate. To Him belongs praise and His is the sovereignty, and He is Able to do all things. Praise be to Allaah, glory be to Allaah, there is no god but Allaah and Allaah is Most Great. There is no power and no strength except with Allaah), then he says, Allaahumma aghfir li (O Allaah, forgive me), or he makes du’aa’, his prayer will be granted. If he does wudoo’ and prays, his salaah will be accepted.” (Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 1086)
When the muezzin says “Hayya ‘ala’l-salaah (come to prayer)” or “Hayya ‘ala’l-falaah (come to success)”
It was narrated from Hafs ibn ‘Aasim ibn ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab, from his father, that his grandfather ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘When the muezzin says “Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar (Allaah is Most Great),” and one of you says, “Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar”; then he says, “Ashhadu an laa ilaaha illa Allaah (I bear witness that there is no god except Allaah” and you say “Ashhadu an laa ilaaha illa Allaah”; then he says, “Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasool Allaah (I bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allaah” and you say, “Ashhadu anna Muhammadan Rasool Allaah”; then he says, “Hayya ‘ala’l-salaah (come to prayer)” and you say, “Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah”; then he says, “Hayya ‘ala’l-falaah (come to success)” and you say, “Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah(لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله)”; then he says “Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar,” and you say, “Allaahu akbar, Allaahu akbar”; then he says “Laa ilaaha illa Allaah” and you say, “Laa ilaaha illa Allaah” – if he says that from the heart, he will enter Paradise.’” (Narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh, 578, and by Abu Dawood in his Sunan, 443)
When leaving one’s house:
It was narrated that Anas ibn Maalik said: “The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: ‘Whoever says – i.e., when he is leaving his house – “Bismillaah, tawwakaltu ‘ala Allaah, laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah[لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله] (In the name of Allaah, I put my trust in Allaah, and there is no power and no strength except with Allaah),” it will be said to him, “You are taken care of and protected,” and the Shaytaan will leave him alone.’” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi in his Sunan, 3348. Abu ‘Eesa said, this is a hasan saheeh ghareeb hadeeth which we only know through this isnaad. See Saheeh al-Jaami’ by al-Albaani, 6419. It was also narrated by Abu Dawood in his Sunan (4431), where he adds: “And another shaytaan says to him, ‘What can you do with a man who has been guided, taken care of and protected?’”)
After praying:
It was narrated that Abu’l-Zubayr said: “Ibn al-Zubayr used to say immediately after every prayer, when he had said the salaam, ‘Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah wahdahu laa shareeka lah, lahu’l-mulk wa lahu’l-hamd wa huwa ‘ala kulli shay’in qadeer. Laa hawla wa laa quwwata illa Billaah[لا حَوْلَ وَلا قُوَّةَ إِلا بِالله] wa laa na’budu illaa iyyaah. Lahu’l-ni’mah wa lahu’l-fadl wa lahu’l-thanaa’ al-hasan. Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah mukhliseena lahu’l-deena wa law kariha’l-kaafiroon (There is no god but Allaah Alone, with no partner or associate His is the sovereignty and to Him be praise, and He is Able to do all things. There is no power and no strength except with Allaah, and we worship none but Him.From Him (alone) come all blessings and favours, and all good praise is due to Him. There is no god but Allaah and we make our worship purely for Him (alone) however much the disbelievers may hate that).’ He said: ‘The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) used to say these words immediately after every prayer.’” (Narrated by Muslim in his Saheeh, 935)
In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful
Many commentators believe that this Surah was revealed at Mecca. The tone of the verses, which are short and awakening about the Hereafter, and the deeds of the deniers of the Judgement Day, attests to this idea.
On the whole, the deeds and characteristics of the deniers of the Hereafter are stated in five references. Consequently, they deny the Final Judgement, repulse giving charity on the path of Allah, or helping the orphan and the indigent. They are heedless of their prayers, by saying them only hypocritically, and refuse to supply even neighbourly needs.
On the occasion of the Surah’s revelation, some have said that it was revealed about Abu-Sufyan who used to slaughter two big camels every day from which he and his men ate. But one day it happened that an orphan came to his door and asked for some help. Abu-Sufyan beat him with his stick and repulsed him.( Hadith Asbab Al-Nuzul)
On the virtue of the recitation of the Surah, a tradition narrated from Imam Baqir (as) says:
“He who recites it (Surah Ma’un) in his obligatory and optional prayers, Allah accepts his prayers and his fasting, and does not count the (evil) acts he committed in this world.”[Majma-al-Bayan. vol 10, p. 546.]
The sins of those who recite this Surah Al-Maun are forgiven. If recited a 100 times after the Fajr Namaz, one remains safe until the next day’s Fajr time. [Majma-al-Bayan. vol 10]
Our Beloved Imam Ja’far as-Sadiq(Radi allahu tala anhu) said that if a person recites Surah al-Maaun 41 times every day, he and his family will remain free from being dependant on others for their sustenance. (It is recommended that salawaat/Durood O Salam should also be recited after the first and last ten times) [Majma-al-Bayan. vol 10]
In The Name of Allah, The Beneficent, The Merciful
1. “Have you seen him who denies the Final Judgement?” 2. “Then such is the man who repulses the orphan (with harshness),” 3. “And encourages not the feeding of the indigent.” 4. “So woe to those praying ones,” 5. “Who are careless of their prayers,” 6. “Those who (want but) to be seen (of men),” 7. “But refuse (to supply) (even) neighbourly needs.”
“The Messenger of Allah used to perform ablution with a Mudd (of water) and bath with a Sa’.”

3) It was narrated that ‘Abdullah bin Abi Qais said:
“I asked ‘Aishah: ‘How did the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) sleep while he was Junub? Did he perform Ghusl before sleeping or sleep before performing Ghusl?’ She said: ‘He did both. Sometimes he would perform Ghusl then sleep, and sometimes he would perform Wudu’ then sleep.'”
4) Narrated `Imran bin Husain: had piles, so I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) about the prayer. He said, “Pray while standing and if you can’t, pray while sitting and if you cannot do even that, then pray Lying on your side.“
