This hadith has been narrated by Ayyub and ‘Asim al-Ahwal with the same chain of transmitters, but in this hadith it is not recorded: i. e. the Messenger of Allah ( صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم ).
Sahih Muslim Urdu Text:
ابو ربیع عتکی زہرانی نے کہا : ہمیں حماد یعنی ابن زید نے حدیث سنائی ، کہا : ہمیں ایوب اور عاصم احول نے اس سند کےساتھ حدیث سنائی ، البتہ انھوں ( ابو ربیع ) نے اپنی حدیث میں یعنی النبي صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے الفاظ ذکر نہیں کیے ۔

و حَدَّثَنِيهِ أَبُو الرَّبِيعِ الْعَتَكِيُّ هُوَ الزَّهْرَانِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ زَيْدٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ وَعَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يَذْكُرْ فِي حَدِيثِهِ يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ
