Sahih Bukhari 5485 – English Translation
He asked the Prophet (ﷺ) "If a hunter throws an arrow at the game and after tracing it for two or three days he finds it dead but still bearing his arrow, (can he eat of it)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) replied, "He can eat if he wishes."
Sahih Bukhari 5485 – Urdu Translation
انہوں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے عرض کی کہ وہ شکار تیرسے مار تے ہیں پھر دو یا تین دن پر اسے تلاش کرتے ہیں ، تب وہ مردہ حالت میں ملتا ہے اور اس کے اندر ان کا تیر گھسا ہوا ہوتا ہے ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ اگر تو چاہے تو کھا سکتا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5485 – Arabic Text
وَقَالَ عَبْدُ الأَعْلَى عَنْ دَاوُدَ، عَنْ عَامِرٍ، عَنْ عَدِيٍّ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم، يَرْمِي الصَّيْدَ فَيَقْتَفِرُ أَثَرَهُ الْيَوْمَيْنِ وَالثَّلاَثَةَ، ثُمَّ يَجِدُهُ مَيِّتًا وَفِيهِ سَهْمُهُ قَالَ " يَأْكُلُ إِنْ شَاءَ ".
