Sahih Bukhari 3204 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "the sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life of someone, but they are two signs amongst the Signs of Allah. So, if you see them, offer the Prayer (of eclipse).
Sahih Bukhari 3204 – Urdu Translation
رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ، سورج اور چاند میں کسی کی موت یا حیات پر گرہن نہیں لگتا ۔ بلکہ یہ اللہ کی نشانیوں میں سے نشانی ہیں اس لیے جب تم ان میں گرہن دیکھو تو نماز پڑھو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 3204 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي قَيْسٌ، عَنْ أَبِي مَسْعُودٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " الشَّمْسُ وَالْقَمَرُ لاَ يَنْكَسِفَانِ لِمَوْتِ أَحَدٍ وَلاَ لِحَيَاتِهِ، وَلَكِنَّهُمَا آيَتَانِ مِنْ آيَاتِ اللَّهِ، فَإِذَا رَأَيْتُمُوهُمَا فَصَلُّوا ".
