Sahih Bukhari 2497, 2498 – English Translation
I asked Abu Minhal about money exchange from hand to hand. He said, "I and a partner of mine bought something partly in cash and partly on credit." Al-Bara' bin `Azib passed by us and we asked about it. He replied, "I and my partner Zaid bin Al-Arqam رضی اللہ عنہ did the same and then went to the Prophet (ﷺ) and asked him about it. He said, 'Take what was from hand to hand and leave what was on credit.' "
Sahih Bukhari 2497, 2498 – Urdu Translation
میں نے ابوالمنہال سے بیع صرف نقد کے بارے میں پوچھا تو انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے اور میرے ایک شریک نے کوئی چیز ( سونے اور چاندی کی ) خریدی نقد پر بھی اور ادھار پر بھی ۔ پھر ہمارے یہاں براء بن عازب رضی اللہ عنہ آئے تو ہم نے ان سے اس کے بارے میں پوچھا ۔ انہوں نے کہا کہ میں نے اور میرے شریک زید بن ارقم رضی اللہ عنہ نے بھی یہ بیع کی تھی اور ہم نے اس کے متعلق رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا تھا تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا تھا کہ جو نقد ہو وہ لے لو اور جو ادھار ہو اسے چھوڑ دو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 2497, 2498 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَلِيٍّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، عَنْ عُثْمَانَ يَعْنِي ابْنَ الأَسْوَدِ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي سُلَيْمَانُ بْنُ أَبِي مُسْلِمٍ، قَالَ سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْمِنْهَالِ عَنِ الصَّرْفِ، يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَقَالَ اشْتَرَيْتُ أَنَا وَشَرِيكٌ، لِي شَيْئًا يَدًا بِيَدٍ وَنَسِيئَةً، فَجَاءَنَا الْبَرَاءُ بْنُ عَازِبٍ فَسَأَلْنَاهُ، فَقَالَ فَعَلْتُ أَنَا وَشَرِيكِي زَيْدُ بْنُ أَرْقَمَ، وَسَأَلْنَا النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَنْ ذَلِكَ فَقَالَ " مَا كَانَ يَدًا بِيَدٍ فَخُذُوهُ، وَمَا كَانَ نَسِيئَةً فَذَرُوهُ ".
