Sahih Bukhari 1151 – English Translation
A woman from the tribe of Bani Asad was sitting with me and Allah's Apostle (ﷺ) came to my house and said, "Who is this?" I said, "(She is) So and so. She does not sleep at night because she is engaged in prayer." The Prophet (ﷺ) said disapprovingly: Do (good) deeds which is within your capacity as Allah never gets tired of giving rewards till you get tired of doing good deeds."
Sahih Bukhari 1151 – Urdu Translation
میرے پاس بنو اسد کی ایک عورت بیٹھی تھی ، نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم تشریف لائے تو ان کے متعلق پوچھا کہ یہ کون ہیں ؟ میں نے کہا کہ یہ فلاں خاتون ہیں جو رات بھر نہیں سوتیں ۔ ان کی نماز کا آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے ذکر کیا گیا ۔ لیکن آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ بس تمہیں صرف اتنا ہی عمل کرنا چاہیے جتنے کی تم میں طاقت ہو ۔ کیونکہ اللہ تعالیٰ تو ( ثواب دینے سے ) تھکتا ہی نہیں تم ہی عمل کرتے کرتے تھک جاؤ گے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1151 – Arabic Text
قَالَ وَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنِ مَسْلَمَةَ عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ عُرْوَةَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ كَانَتْ عِنْدِي امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي أَسَدٍ فَدَخَلَ عَلَىَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " مَنْ هَذِهِ ". قُلْتُ فُلاَنَةُ لاَ تَنَامُ بِاللَّيْلِ. فَذُكِرَ مِنْ صَلاَتِهَا فَقَالَ " مَهْ عَلَيْكُمْ مَا تُطِيقُونَ مِنَ الأَعْمَالِ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ لاَ يَمَلُّ حَتَّى تَمَلُّوا ".
