Sahih Bukhari 1150 – English Translation
Once the Prophet (ﷺ) entered the Mosque and saw a rope hanging in between its two pillars. He said, "What is this rope?" The people said, "This rope is for Zainab رضی اللہ عنہا who, when she feels tired, holds it (to keep standing for the prayer.)" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Don't use it. Remove the rope. You should pray as long as you feel active, and when you get tired, sit down."
Sahih Bukhari 1150 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم مسجد میں تشریف لے گئے ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی نظر ایک رسی پر پڑی جو دو ستونوں کے درمیان تنی ہوئی تھی ۔ دریافت فرمایا کہ یہ رسی کیسی ہے ؟ لوگوں نے عرض کی کہ یہ حضرت زینب رضی اللہ عنہا نے باندھی ہے جب وہ ( نماز میں کھڑی کھڑی ) تھک جاتی ہیں تو اس سے لٹکی رہتی ہیں ۔ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ نہیں یہ رسی نہیں ہونی چاہیے اسے کھول ڈالو ، تم میں ہر شخص کو چاہیے جب تک دل لگے نماز پڑھے ، تھک جائے تو بیٹھ جائے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 1150 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مَعْمَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ صُهَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ دَخَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَإِذَا حَبْلٌ مَمْدُودٌ بَيْنَ السَّارِيَتَيْنِ فَقَالَ " مَا هَذَا الْحَبْلُ ". قَالُوا هَذَا حَبْلٌ لِزَيْنَبَ فَإِذَا فَتَرَتْ تَعَلَّقَتْ. فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ، حُلُّوهُ، لِيُصَلِّ أَحَدُكُمْ نَشَاطَهُ، فَإِذَا فَتَرَ فَلْيَقْعُدْ ".
