Sahih Bukhari 973 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) used to proceed to the Musalla and an 'Anaza used to be carried before him and planted in the Musalla in front of him and he would pray facing it (as a Sutra).
Sahih Bukhari 973 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم عیدگاہ جاتے تو برچھا ( ڈنڈا جس کے نیچے لوہے کا پھل لگا ہوا ہو ) آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے آگے آگے لے جایا جاتا تھا پھر یہ عیدگاہ میں آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے سامنے گاڑ دیا جاتا اور آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اس کی آڑ میں نماز پڑھتے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا الْوَلِيدُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَمْرٍو، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَغْدُو إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى، وَالْعَنَزَةُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، تُحْمَلُ وَتُنْصَبُ بِالْمُصَلَّى بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ فَيُصَلِّي إِلَيْهَا.
