Sahih Bukhari 962 – English Translation
I offered the `Id prayer with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ), Abu Bakr, `Umar and `Uthman رضی اللہ عنہم and all of them offered the prayer before delivering the Khutba.

میں عید کے دن نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم اور ابوبکر اور عمر اور عثمان رضی اللہ عنہم سب کے ساتھ گیا ہوں یہ لوگ پہلے نماز پڑھتے ، پھر خطبہ دیا کرتے تھے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي الْحَسَنُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ طَاوُسٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ شَهِدْتُ الْعِيدَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَأَبِي بَكْرٍ وَعُمَرَ وَعُثْمَانَ ـ رضى الله عنهم ـ فَكُلُّهُمْ كَانُوا يُصَلُّونَ قَبْلَ الْخُطْبَةِ.
