Sahih Bukhari 919 – English Translation
"I heard the Prophet (ﷺ) delivering the Khutba on the pulpit and he said, 'Whoever comes for the Jumua prayer should take a bath (before coming).' "

میں نے نبی کریم صلی الہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے منبر پر خطبہ دیتے ہوئے فرمایا کہ جو جمعہ کے لیے آئے وہ پہلے غسل کر لیا کرے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ فَقَالَ " مَنْ جَاءَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ ".
