Sahih Bukhari 5970 – English Translation
"The owner of this house." he pointed to `Abdullah's house, "said, 'I asked the Prophet (ﷺ) 'Which deed is loved most by Allah?" He replied, 'To offer prayers at their early (very first) stated times.' " `Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہ asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To be good and dutiful to one's parents," `Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہ asked, "What is the next (in goodness)?" The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "To participate in Jihad for Allah's Cause." `Abdullah رضی اللہ عنہ added, "The Prophet (ﷺ) narrated to me these three things, and if I had asked more, he would have told me more."
Sahih Bukhari 5970 – Urdu Translation
ہمیں اس گھر والے نے خبر دی اور انہوں نے اپنے ہاتھ سے عبداللہ بن مسعود رضی اللہ عنہما کے گھر کی طرف اشارہ کیا ، انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ میں نے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے پوچھا اللہ تعالیٰ کے نزدیک کو ن سا عمل سب سے زیادہ پسند ہے ؟ آپ نے فرمایا کہ وقت پر نماز پڑھنا ۔ پوچھا کہ پھر کون سا ؟ فرمایا کہ والدین کے سا تھ اچھا سلوک کرنا ، پوچھا پھر کون سا ؟ فرمایا کہ اللہ کے راستے میں جہاد کرنا ۔ عبداللہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے مجھ سے ان کاموں کے متعلق بیان کیا اور اگر میں اسی طرح سوال کرتا رہتا تو آپ جواب دیتے رہتے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5970 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ الْوَلِيدُ بْنُ عَيْزَارٍ أَخْبَرَنِي قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَمْرٍو الشَّيْبَانِيَّ، يَقُولُ أَخْبَرَنَا صَاحِبُ، هَذِهِ الدَّارِ ـ وَأَوْمَأَ بِيَدِهِ إِلَى دَارِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَىُّ الْعَمَلِ أَحَبُّ إِلَى اللَّهِ قَالَ " الصَّلاَةُ عَلَى وَقْتِهَا ". قَالَ ثُمَّ أَىُّ قَالَ " ثُمَّ بِرُّ الْوَالِدَيْنِ ". قَالَ ثُمَّ أَىّ قَالَ " الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ ". قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي بِهِنَّ وَلَوِ اسْتَزَدْتُهُ لَزَادَنِي.
