Sahih Bukhari 5756 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "No 'Adwa (no contagious disease is conveyed to others without Allah's permission), nor Tiyara, but I like the good Fal, i.e., the good word."
Sahih Bukhari 5756 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا چھوت لگ جانے کی کوئی اصل نہیں اور نہ بد شگونی کی کوئی اصل ہے اور مجھے اچھی فال پسند ہے یعنی کوئی کلمہ خیر اور نیک بات جو کسی کے منہ سے سنی جائے ( جیسا کہ اوپر بیان ہوا ) ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " لاَ عَدْوَى وَلاَ طِيَرَةَ، وَيُعْجِبُنِي الْفَأْلُ الصَّالِحُ، الْكَلِمَةُ الْحَسَنَةُ ".
