Sahih Bukhari 5755 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is no Tiyara and the best omen is the Fal," Somebody said, "What is the Fal, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?" He said, "A good word that one of you hears (and takes as a good omen).
Sahih Bukhari 5755 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا بد شگونی کی کوئی اصل نہیں اور اس میں بہتر فال نیک ہے ۔ لوگوں نے پوچھا کہ نیک فال کیا ہے یا رسول اللہ ! فرمایا کلمہ صالحہ ( نیک بات ) جو تم میں سے کوئی سنے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5755 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " لاَ طِيَرَةَ، وَخَيْرُهَا الْفَأْلُ ". قَالَ وَمَا الْفَأْلُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَالَ " الْكَلِمَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ يَسْمَعُهَا أَحَدُكُمْ ".
