Sahih Bukhari 5680 – English Translation
(The Prophet (ﷺ) said), "Healing is in three things: A gulp of honey, cupping, and branding with fire (cauterizing)." But I forbid my followers to use (cauterization) branding with fire." He traced this Hadith back to the prophet ﷺ. Hadrat Ibn-e-Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما has reported honey and cupping from the prophet ﷺ.
Sahih Bukhari 5680 – Urdu Translation
شفاء تین چیزوں میں ہے ۔ شہد کے شربت میں ، پچھنا لگوانے میں اور آگ سے داغنے میں لیکن میں امت کوآگ سے داغ کر علاج کرنے سے منع کرتا ہوں ۔ حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اس حدیث کو مرفوعاً نقل کیا ہے اور القمی نے روایت کیا ، ان سے لیث نے ، ان سے مجاہد نے ، ان سے حضرت ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے اور ان سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے شہد اور پچھنا لگوانے کے بارے میں بیان کیا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5680 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنِي الْحُسَيْنُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مَنِيعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ شُجَاعٍ، حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ الأَفْطَسُ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ " الشِّفَاءُ فِي ثَلاَثَةٍ شَرْبَةِ عَسَلٍ، وَشَرْطَةِ مِحْجَمٍ، وَكَيَّةِ نَارٍ، وَأَنْهَى أُمَّتِي عَنِ الْكَىِّ ". رَفَعَ الْحَدِيثَ وَرَوَاهُ الْقُمِّيُّ عَنْ لَيْثٍ عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فِي الْعَسَلِ وَالْحَجْمِ.
