Sahih Bukhari 5640 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "No calamity befalls a Muslim but that Allah expiates some of his sins because of it, even though it were the prick he receives from a thorn."
Sahih Bukhari 5640 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا جو مصیبت بھی کسی مسلمان کو پہنچتی ہے اللہ تعالیٰ اسے اس کے گناہ کا کفارہ کر دیتا ہے ( کسی مسلمان کے ) ایک کانٹا بھی اگر جسم کے کسی حصہ میں چبھ جائے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5640 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ الْحَكَمُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا شُعَيْبٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنْ مُصِيبَةٍ تُصِيبُ الْمُسْلِمَ إِلاَّ كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ بِهَا عَنْهُ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا ".
