ابو حمید ساعدی مقام نقیع سے دودھ کا ایک پیالہ ( کھلا ہوا ) لائے تو آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے ان سے فرمایا کہ اسے ڈھک کر کیوں نہیں لائے ایک لکڑی ہی اس پر رکھ لیتے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، وَأَبِي، سُفْيَانَ عَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْداللَّهِ، قَالَ جَاءَ أَبُو حُمَيْدٍ بِقَدَحٍ مِنْ لَبَنٍ مِنَ النَّقِيعِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم " أَلاَّ خَمَّرْتَهُ وَلَوْ أَنْ تَعْرُضَ عَلَيْهِ عُودًا ".
