Sahih Bukhari 5567 – English Translation
During the lifetime of the Prophet (ﷺ) we used to take with us the meat of the sacrifices (of Id al Adha) to Medina. (The narrator often said. The meat of the Hadi).
Sahih Bukhari 5567 – Urdu Translation
مدینہ پہنچنے تک ہم رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے زمانے میں قربانی کا گوشت جمع کرتے تھے اور کئی مرتبہ ( بجائے لحوم الاضاحی کے ) لحوم الھدی کا لفظ استعمال کیا ۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، قَالَ عَمْرٌو أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، سَمِعَ جَابِرَ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ كُنَّا نَتَزَوَّدُ لُحُومَ الأَضَاحِيِّ عَلَى عَهْدِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِلَى الْمَدِينَةِ، وَقَالَ غَيْرَ مَرَّةٍ لُحُومَ الْهَدْىِ.
