Sahih Bukhari 5547 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) distributed among his companions some animals for sacrifice (to be slaughtered on `Id-al-Adha). `Uqba's share was a Jadha'a (a six month old goat). `Uqba said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! I get in my share of Jadha'a (a six month old ram)." The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Slaughter it as a sacrifice."
Sahih Bukhari 5547 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اپنے صحابہ میں قربانی کے جانور تقسیم کئے ۔ حضرت عقبہ رضی اللہ عنہ کے حصہ میں ایک سال سے کم کا بکری کا بچہ آیا ۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ اس پر میں نے عرض کیا یا رسول اللہ ! میرے حصہ میں تو ایک سال سے کم کا بچہ آیا ہے ؟ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ تم اسی کو قربانی کر لو ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5547 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ فَضَالَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا هِشَامٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ بَعْجَةَ الْجُهَنِيِّ، عَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ الْجُهَنِيِّ، قَالَ قَسَمَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم بَيْنَ أَصْحَابِهِ ضَحَايَا، فَصَارَتْ لِعُقْبَةَ جَذَعَةٌ. فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَارَتْ جَذَعَةٌ. قَالَ " ضَحِّ بِهَا ".
