Sahih Bukhari 5514 – English Translation
that he entered upon Yahya bin Sa`id while one of Yahya's sons was aiming at a hen after tying it. Ibn `Umar رضی اللہ عنہما walked to it and untied it. Then he brought it and the boy and said. "Prevent your boys from tying the birds for the sake of killing them, as I have heard the Prophet (ﷺ) forbidding the killing of an animal or other living thing after tying them."
Sahih Bukhari 5514 – Urdu Translation
وہ یحییٰ بن سعید کے یہاں تشریف لے گئے ۔ یحییٰ کی اولاد میں ایک بچہ ایک مرغی باندھ کر اس پر تیر کا نشانہ لگا رہا تھا ۔ حضرت عبداللہ بن عمر رضی اللہ عنہما مرغی کے پاس گئے اور اسے کھول لیا پھر مرغی کو اور بچے کو اپنے ساتھ لائے اور یحییٰ سے کہا کہ اپنے بچہ کو منع کر دو کہ اس جانور کو باندھ کر نہ مارے کیونکہ میں نے آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم سے سنا ہے آپ نے کسی جنگلی جا نور یا کسی بھی جانور کو باندھ کر جان سے مارنے سے منع فرمایا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5514 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَهُ يُحَدِّثُ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ أَنَّهُ دَخَلَ عَلَى يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ وَغُلاَمٌ مِنْ بَنِي يَحْيَى رَابِطٌ دَجَاجَةً يَرْمِيهَا، فَمَشَى إِلَيْهَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ حَتَّى حَلَّهَا، ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ بِهَا وَبِالْغُلاَمِ مَعَهُ فَقَالَ ازْجُرُوا غُلاَمَكُمْ عَنْ أَنْ يَصْبِرَ هَذَا الطَّيْرَ لِلْقَتْلِ، فَإِنِّي سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم نَهَى أَنْ تُصْبَرَ بَهِيمَةٌ أَوْ غَيْرُهَا لِلْقَتْلِ.
