Sahih Bukhari 5444 – English Translation
While we were sitting with the Prophet, fresh dates were brought to him. The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "There is a tree among the trees which is as blessed as a Muslim" I thought that it was the date palm tree and intended to say, "It is the date-palm tree, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)!" but I looked behind to see that I was the tenth and youngest of ten men present there, so I kept quiet' Then the Prophet (ﷺ) said, "It is the datepalm tree."
Sahih Bukhari 5444 – Urdu Translation
ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں بیٹھے ہوئے تھے کہ کھجور کے درخت کا گابھہ لایا گیا ۔ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا بعض درخت ایسے ہوتے ہیں جن کی برکت مسلمان کی برکت کی طرح ہوتی ہے ۔ میں نے خیال کیا کہ آپ کا اشارہ کھجور کے درخت کی طرف ہے ۔ میں نے سوچا کہ کہہ دوں کہ وہ درخت کھجور کا ہوتا ہے یا رسول اللہ ! لیکن پھر جو میں نے مڑ کر دیکھا تو مجلس میں میرے علاوہ نو آدمی اور تھے اور میں ان میں سب سے چھوٹا تھا ۔ اس لیے میں خاموش رہا پھر آپ نے فرمایا کہ وہ درخت کھجور کا ہے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5444 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصِ بْنِ غِيَاثٍ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا الأَعْمَشُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُجَاهِدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ قَالَ بَيْنَا نَحْنُ عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم جُلُوسٌ إِذْ أُتِيَ بِجُمَّارِ نَخْلَةٍ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " إِنَّ مِنَ الشَّجَرِ لَمَا بَرَكَتُهُ كَبَرَكَةِ الْمُسْلِمِ ". فَظَنَنْتُ أَنَّهُ يَعْنِي النَّخْلَةَ، فَأَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَقُولَ هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ. ثُمَّ الْتَفَتُّ فَإِذَا أَنَا عَاشِرُ عَشَرَةٍ أَنَا أَحْدَثُهُمْ فَسَكَتُّ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " هِيَ النَّخْلَةُ ".
