Sahih Bukhari 5379 – English Translation
A tailor invited Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) to a meal which he had prepared. Hadrat Anas رضی اللہ عنہ says that I went along with Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) and saw him seeking to eat the pieces of gourd from the various sides of the dish. Since that day I have liked to eat gourd. `Umar bin Abi Salama said: The Prophet, said to me, "Eat with your right hand."
Sahih Bukhari 5379 – Urdu Translation
ایک درزی نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی کھانے کی دعوت کی جو انہوں نے آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے لیے تیار کیا تھا ۔ انس رضی اللہ عنہ نے بیان کیا کہ حضور اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ساتھ میں بھی گیا ، میں نے دیکھا کہ حضور اکرم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم پیالہ میں چاروں طرف کدو تلاش کرتے تھے ( کھانے کے لیے ) بیان کیا کہ اسی دن سے کدو مجھ کوبھی بہت بھانے لگا ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5379 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، عَنْ مَالِكٍ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ أَبِي طَلْحَةَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ إِنَّ خَيَّاطًا دَعَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم لِطَعَامٍ صَنَعَهُ ـ قَالَ أَنَسٌ ـ فَذَهَبْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَتَتَبَّعُ الدُّبَّاءَ مِنْ حَوَالَىِ الْقَصْعَةِ ـ قَالَ ـ فَلَمْ أَزَلْ أُحِبُّ الدُّبَّاءَ مِنْ يَوْمِئِذٍ.
