Sahih Bukhari 5359 – English Translation
Hind bint `Utba رضی اللہ عنہا came and said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Abu Sufyan is a miser so is it sinful of me to feed our children from his property?" Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "No except if you take for your needs what is just and reasonable. "
Sahih Bukhari 5359 – Urdu Translation
ہند بنت عتبہ رضی اللہ عنہا حاضر ہوئیں اور عرض کیا ، یا رسول اللہ ! ابوسفیان ( ان کے شوہر ) بہت بخیل ہیں ، تو کیا میرے لیے اس میں کوئی گناہ ہے اگر میں ان کے مال میں سے ( اس کے پیٹھ پیچھے ) اپنے بچوں کو کھلاؤں ؟ آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ نہیں ، لیکن دستور کے مطابق ہونا چاہیے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 5359 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ مُقَاتِلٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُرْوَةُ، أَنَّ عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ قَالَتْ جَاءَتْ هِنْدُ بِنْتُ عُتْبَةَ فَقَالَتْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّ أَبَا سُفْيَانَ رَجُلٌ مِسِّيكٌ، فَهَلْ عَلَىَّ حَرَجٌ أَنْ أُطْعِمَ مِنَ الَّذِي لَهُ عِيَالَنَا قَالَ " لاَ إِلاَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ".
