Sahih Bukhari 5169 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) manumitted Safiyya رضی اللہ عنہا and then married her, and her Mahr was her manumission, and he gave a wedding banquet with Hais (a sort of sweet dish made from butter, cheese and dates).

رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے حضرت صفیہ رضی اللہ عنہا کو آزاد کیا اور پھر ان سے نکاح کیا اور ان کی آزادی کو ان کا مہر قرار دیااور ان کا ولیمہ ملیدہ (مکھن، پنیر اور کھجور سے بنی ہوئی میٹھی ڈش)سے کیا ۔

حَدَّثَنَا مُسَدَّدٌ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَعْتَقَ صَفِيَّةَ، وَتَزَوَّجَهَا وَجَعَلَ عِتْقَهَا صَدَاقَهَا، وَأَوْلَمَ عَلَيْهَا بِحَيْسٍ.
