Sahih Bukhari 5073 – English Translation
Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) forbade `Uthman bin Maz'un to abstain from marrying (and other pleasures) and if he had allowed him, we would have gotten ourselves castrated.
Sahih Bukhari 5073 – Urdu Translation
رسول کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نےعثمان بن مظعون رضی اللہ عنہ کو نکاح تبتل یعنی عورتوں سے الگ رہنے کی زندگی سے منع فرمایا تھا ۔ اگر آنحضرت صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم انہیں اجازت دے دیتے تو ہم تو خصی ہی ہو جاتے ۔

حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ، حَدَّثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ شِهَابٍ، سَمِعَ سَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ سَعْدَ بْنَ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ، يَقُولُ رَدَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم عَلَى عُثْمَانَ بْنِ مَظْعُونٍ التَّبَتُّلَ، وَلَوْ أَذِنَ لَهُ لاَخْتَصَيْنَا.
