Sahih Bukhari 4981 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Every Prophet was given miracles because of which people believed, but what I have been given, is Divine Inspiration which Allah has revealed to me. So I hope that my followers will outnumber the followers of the other Prophets on the Day of Resurrection."
Sahih Bukhari 4981 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا ہر نبی کو ایسے ایسے معجزات عطا کئے گئے کہ ( انہیں دیکھ کر ) ان پر ایمان لائے ( بعد کے زمانے میں ان کا کوئی اثر نہیں رہا ) اور مجھے جو معجزہ دیا گیا ہے وہ وحی ( قرآن ) ہے جو اللہ تعالیٰ نے مجھ پر نازل کی ہے ۔ ( اس کا اثر قیامت تک باقی رہے گا ) اس لئے مجھے امید ہے کہ قیامت کے دن میرے تابع فرمان لوگ دوسرے پیغمبروں کے تابع فرمانوں سے زیادہ ہوں گے ۔
Sahih Bukhari 4981 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يُوسُفَ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدٌ الْمَقْبُرِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " مَا مِنَ الأَنْبِيَاءِ نَبِيٌّ إِلاَّ أُعْطِيَ مَا مِثْلُهُ آمَنَ عَلَيْهِ الْبَشَرُ، وَإِنَّمَا كَانَ الَّذِي أُوتِيتُ وَحْيًا أَوْحَاهُ اللَّهُ إِلَىَّ فَأَرْجُو أَنْ أَكُونَ أَكْثَرَهُمْ تَابِعًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ".
