Sahih Bukhari 4947 – English Translation
We were in the company of the Prophet (ﷺ) and he said, "There is none among you but has his place written for him, either in Paradise or in the Hell-Fire." We said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Shall we depend (on this fact and give up work)?" He replied, "No! Carry on doing good deeds, for everybody will find easy (to do) such deeds as will lead him to his destined place." Then the Prophet (ﷺ) recited: 'As for him who gives (in charity) and keeps his duty to Allah, and believes in the Best reward. We will make smooth for him the path of ease….the path for evil.' (92.5-10)
Sahih Bukhari 4947 – Urdu Translation
ہم نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے پاس بیٹھے ہوئے تھے۔ آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ ہم میں کوئی ایسا نہیں جس کا جہنم کا ٹھکانا اور جنت کا ٹھکانا لکھا نہ جا چکا ہو۔ ہم نے عرض کیا: یا رسول اللہ! پھر ہم اسی پر بھروسہ کیوں نہ کر لیں؟ فرمایا نہیں عمل کرتے رہو کیونکہ ہر شخص کو آسانی دی گئی ہے اور اس کے بعد آپ نے اس آیت کی تلاوت کی «فأما من أعطى واتقى * وصدق بالحسنى * فسنيسره لليسرى» یعنی ”سو جس نے دیا اور اللہ سے ڈرا اور اچھی بات کو سچا سمجھا اس کے لیے راحت کی چیز آسان کر دیں گے۔“ تا «فسنيسره للعسرى» ۔
Sahih Bukhari 4947 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى، حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنِ الأَعْمَشِ، عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ عُبَيْدَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ ـ عَلَيْهِ السَّلاَمُ ـ قَالَ كُنَّا جُلُوسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ " مَا مِنْكُمْ مِنْ أَحَدٍ إِلاَّ وَقَدْ كُتِبَ مَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَمَقْعَدُهُ مِنَ النَّارِ ". فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَفَلاَ نَتَّكِلُ قَالَ " لاَ، اعْمَلُوا فَكُلٌّ مُيَسَّرٌ ". ثُمَّ قَرَأَ {فَأَمَّا مَنْ أَعْطَى وَاتَّقَى * وَصَدَّقَ بِالْحُسْنَى * فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْيُسْرَى} إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {فَسَنُيَسِّرُهُ لِلْعُسْرَى}
