Sahih Bukhari 4914 – English Translation
I intended to ask `Umar رضی اللہ عنہso I said, "Who were those two ladies who tried to back each other against the Prophet?" I hardly finished my speech when he said, They were `Aisha and Hafsa رضی اللہ عنہما ."
Sahih Bukhari 4914 – Urdu Translation
میں نے عمر رضی اللہ عنہ سے ایک بات پوچھنے کا ارادہ کیا اور عرض کیا امیرالمؤمنین! وہ کون دو عورتیں تھیں جنہوں نے رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کے ستانے کے لیے منصوبہ بنایا تھا؟ ابھی میں نے اپنی بات پوری بھی نہیں کی تھی کہ انہوں نے کہا وہ عائشہ اور حفصہ رضی اللہ عنہما تھیں۔

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيٌّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُبَيْدَ بْنَ حُنَيْنٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ يَقُولُ أَرَدْتُ أَنْ أَسْأَلَ عُمَرَ فَقُلْتُ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ مَنِ الْمَرْأَتَانِ اللَّتَانِ تَظَاهَرَتَا عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَمَا أَتْمَمْتُ كَلاَمِي حَتَّى قَالَ عَائِشَةُ وَحَفْصَةُ.
