Sahih Bukhari 4743 – English Translation
He used to take an oath confirming that the Verse: 'These two opponents (believers, and disbelievers) dispute with each other about their Lord.' (22.19) was Revealed in connection with Hamza and his two companions and `Utbah and his two companions on the day when they ease out of the battle of Badr. Sufyan has reported it from Abu Hashim. Uthman, Jareer, Masoor, Abu Hashim reported his saying from Abu Mijliz.
Sahih Bukhari 4743 – Urdu Translation
یہ آیت «هذان خصمان اختصموا في ربهم» ”یہ دو فریق ہیں، جنہوں نے اپنے پروردگار کے بارے میں جھگڑا کیا۔“ حمزہ اور آپ کے دونوں ساتھیوں ( علی بن ابی طالب رضی اللہ عنہ اور عبیدہ بن حارث رضی اللہ عنہ مسلمانوں کی طرف سے ) اور ( مشرکین کی طرف سے ) عتبہ اور اس کے دونوں ساتھیوں ( شیبہ اور ولید بن عتبہ ) کے بارے میں نازل ہوئی تھی، جب انہوں نے بدر کی لڑائی میں میدان میں آ کر مقابلہ کی دعوت دی تھی۔ اس روایت کو سفیان نے ابوہاشم سے اور عثمان نے جریر سے، انہوں نے منصور سے، انہوں نے ابوہاشم سے اور انہوں نے ابومجلز سے اسی طرح نقل کیا ہے۔
Sahih Bukhari 4743 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا حَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو هَاشِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ عُبَادٍ، عَنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ أَنَّهُ كَانَ يُقْسِمُ فِيهَا إِنَّ هَذِهِ الآيَةَ {هَذَانِ خَصْمَانِ اخْتَصَمُوا فِي رَبِّهِمْ} نَزَلَتْ فِي حَمْزَةَ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ، وَعُتْبَةَ وَصَاحِبَيْهِ يَوْمَ بَرَزُوا فِي يَوْمِ بَدْرٍ رَوَاهُ سُفْيَانُ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ. وَقَالَ عُثْمَانُ عَنْ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ مَنْصُورٍ عَنْ أَبِي هَاشِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ قَوْلَهُ.
