Sahih Bukhari 4683 – English Translation
Ibn `Abbas رضی اللہ عنہما recited:– "No doubt! They fold up their breasts in order to hide from Him. Surely! Even when they cover themselves with their garments.." (11.5) some other people quoted from Hadrat Ibn-e-Abbas يَسْتَغْشُونَ'' : رضی اللہ عنہما'' They cover their heads ''سِيءَ بِهِمْ'' misturst them i.e his people. ''وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ'': From his guest. ''بِقِطْعٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ'': in the darkness of the night. Mujahid says: ''أُنِيبُ'' means: I repent.
Sahih Bukhari 4683 – Urdu Translation
ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما نے آیت کی قرآت اس طرح کی تھی «ألا إنهم يثنون صدورهم ليستخفوا منه ألا حين يستغشون ثيابهم» اور عمرو بن دینار کے علاوہ اوروں نے بیان کیا ابن عباس رضی اللہ عنہما سے کہ «يستغشون» یعنی اپنے سر چھپا لیتے ہیں۔ «سيء بهم» یعنی اپنی قوم سے وہ بدگمان ہوا۔ «وضاق بهم» یعنی اپنے مہمانوں کو دیکھ کر وہ بدگمان ہوا کہ ان کی قوم انہیں بھی پریشان کرے گی۔ «بقطع من الليل» یعنی رات کی سیاہی میں اور مجاہد نے کہا «أنيب» کے معنی میں رجوع کرتا ہوں ( متوجہ ہوتا ہوں ) ۔

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرٌو، قَالَ قَرَأَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ {أَلاَ إِنَّهُمْ يَثْنُونَ صُدُورَهُمْ لِيَسْتَخْفُوا مِنْهُ أَلاَ حِينَ يَسْتَغْشُونَ ثِيَابَهُمْ} وَقَالَ غَيْرُهُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ {يَسْتَغْشُونَ} يُغَطُّونَ رُءُوسَهُمْ {سِيءَ بِهِمْ} سَاءَ ظَنُّهُ بِقَوْمِهِ. {وَضَاقَ بِهِمْ} بِأَضْيَافِهِ {بِقِطْعٍ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ} بِسَوَادٍ. وَقَالَ مُجَاهِدٌ {أُنِيبُ} أَرْجِعُ.
