Sahih Bukhari 4631 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Nobody has the right to say that I am better than Jonah bin Matta."

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ کسی شخص کے لیے جائز نہیں کہ مجھے یونس بن متی علیہ السلام سے بہتر بتائے۔

حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، أَخْبَرَنَا سَعْدُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ حُمَيْدَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ـ رضى الله عنه ـ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ " مَا يَنْبَغِي لِعَبْدٍ أَنْ يَقُولَ أَنَا خَيْرٌ مِنْ يُونُسَ بْنِ مَتَّى ".
