Sahih Bukhari 4468 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) appointed Usama رضی اللہ عنہما as the commander of the troops (to be sent to Syria). The Muslims spoke about Usama (unfavorably ). The Prophet (ﷺ) said, " I have been informed that you spoke about Usama رضی اللہ عنہ . (Let it be known that ) he is the most beloved of all people to me."
Sahih Bukhari 4468 – Urdu Translation
نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے اسامہ بن زید رضی اللہ عنہما کو ایک لشکر کا امیر بنایا تو بعض صحابہ رضی اللہ عنہم نے ان کی امارت پر اعتراض کیا۔ اس پر نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے فرمایا کہ مجھے معلوم ہوا ہے کہ تم اسامہ رضی اللہ عنہ پر اعتراض کر رہے ہو حالانکہ وہ مجھے سب سے زیادہ عزیز ہے۔
Sahih Bukhari 4468 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَاصِمٍ الضَّحَّاكُ بْنُ مَخْلَدٍ، عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عُقْبَةَ، عَنْ سَالِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، اسْتَعْمَلَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أُسَامَةَ ـ فَقَالُوا فِيهِ ـ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم " قَدْ بَلَغَنِي أَنَّكُمْ قُلْتُمْ فِي أُسَامَةَ، وَإِنَّهُ أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَىَّ ".
