Sahih Bukhari 4281 – English Translation
I saw Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) on the day of the Conquest of Mecca over his she-camel, reciting Surat-al-Fath in a vibrant quivering tone. (The sub-narrator, Mu'awiya رضی اللہ عنہ added, "Were I not afraid that the people may gather around me, I would recite in vibrant quivering tone as he (i.e. `Abdullah bin Mughaffal رضی اللہ عنہ) did, imitating Allah's Messenger (ﷺ).")
Sahih Bukhari 4281 – Urdu Translation
رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم فتح مکہ کے موقع پر اپنے اونٹ پر سوار ہیں اور خوش الحانی کے ساتھ سورۃ الفتح کی تلاوت فرما رہے ہیں۔ معاویہ بن قرہ رضی اللہ عنہ نے کہا کہ اگر اس کا خطرہ نہ ہوتا کہ لوگ مجھے گھیر لیں گے تو میں بھی اسی طرح تلاوت کر کے دکھاتا جیسے عبداللہ بن مغفل رضی اللہ عنہ نے پڑھ کر سنایا تھا۔
Sahih Bukhari 4281 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ بْنِ قُرَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مُغَفَّلٍ، يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم يَوْمَ فَتْحِ مَكَّةَ عَلَى نَاقَتِهِ، وَهْوَ يَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ الْفَتْحِ يُرَجِّعُ، وَقَالَ لَوْلاَ أَنْ يَجْتَمِعَ النَّاسُ حَوْلِي لَرَجَّعْتُ كَمَا رَجَّعَ.
