Sahih Bukhari 4239 – English Translation
He came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and greeted him. Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! This (Aban) is the murderer of the Ibn Qauqal." (On hearing that), Aban رضی اللہ عنہ said to Abu Huraira رضی اللہ عنہ , "How strange your saying is! You, a guinea pig, descending from Qadum Dan, blaming me for (killing) a person whom Allah favored (with martyrdom) with my hand, and whom He forbade to degrade me with his hand.'
Sahih Bukhari 4239 – Urdu Translation
وہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں حاضر ہوئے اور سلام کیا۔ ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ بولے کہ یا رسول اللہ! یہ تو ابن قوقل کا قاتل ہے اور ابان رضی اللہ عنہ نے ابوہریرہ رضی اللہ عنہ سے کہا حیرت ہے اس «وبر» پر جو قدوم الضان سے ابھی اترا ہے اور مجھ پر عیب لگاتا ہے ایک ایسے شخص پر کہ جس کے ہاتھ سے اللہ تعالیٰ نے انہیں ( ابن قوقل رضی اللہ عنہ کو ) عزت دی اور ایسا نہ ہونے دیا کہ ان کے ہاتھ سے مجھے ذلیل کرتا۔
Sahih Bukhari 4239 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، حَدَّثَنَا عَمْرُو بْنُ يَحْيَى بْنِ سَعِيدٍ، قَالَ أَخْبَرَنِي جَدِّي، أَنَّ أَبَانَ بْنَ سَعِيدٍ، أَقْبَلَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَسَلَّمَ عَلَيْهِ، فَقَالَ أَبُو هُرَيْرَةَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ هَذَا قَاتِلُ ابْنِ قَوْقَلٍ. وَقَالَ أَبَانُ لأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ وَاعَجَبًا لَكَ وَبْرٌ تَدَأْدَأَ مِنْ قَدُومِ ضَأْنٍ. يَنْعَى عَلَىَّ امْرَأً أَكْرَمَهُ اللَّهُ بِيَدِي، وَمَنَعَهُ أَنْ يُهِينَنِي بِيَدِهِ.
