Sahih Bukhari 4212 – English Translation
The Prophet (ﷺ) stayed with Safiya bint Huyai رضی اللہ عنہا for three days on the way of Khaibar where he consummated his marriage with her. Safiya was amongst those who were ordered to use a veil.

نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے صفیہ بنت حیی رضی اللہ عنہا کے لیے خیبر کے راستہ میں تین دن تک قیام فرمایا اور آخری دن ان سے خلوت فرمائی اور وہ بھی امہات المؤمنین میں شامل ہو گئیں۔

حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ، قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي أَخِي، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ يَحْيَى، عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ، سَمِعَ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ـ رضى الله عنه أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَقَامَ عَلَى صَفِيَّةَ بِنْتِ حُيَىٍّ، بِطَرِيقِ خَيْبَرَ ثَلاَثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، حَتَّى أَعْرَسَ بِهَا، وَكَانَتْ فِيمَنْ ضُرِبَ عَلَيْهَا الْحِجَابُ.
