Sahih Bukhari 4166 – English Translation
(Who was one of those who had given the Pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (ﷺ) beneath the Tree) When the people brought Sadaqa (i.e. rak`at) to the Prophet (ﷺ) he used to say, "O Allah! Bless them with your Mercy." Once my father came with his Sadaqa to him whereupon he (i.e. the Prophet) said. "O Allah! Bless the family of Abu `Aufa رضی اللہ عنہ ."
Sahih Bukhari 4166 – Urdu Translation
وہ بیعت رضوان میں شریک تھے۔ انہوں نے بیان کیا کہ نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی خدمت میں جب کوئی صدقہ لے کر حاضر ہوتا تو آپ دعا کرتے کہ اے اللہ! اس پر اپنی رحمت نازل فرما۔ چنانچہ میرے والد بھی اپنا صدقہ لے کر حاضر ہوئے تو آپ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم نے دعا کی کہ اے اللہ! آل ابی اوفی رضی اللہ عنہ پر اپنی رحمت نازل فرما۔
Sahih Bukhari 4166 – Arabic Text
حَدَّثَنَا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ الشَّجَرَةِ ـ قَالَ كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَةٍ قَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَيْهِمْ ". فَأَتَاهُ أَبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ " اللَّهُمَّ صَلِّ عَلَى آلِ أَبِي أَوْفَى ".
