Sahih Bukhari 4155 – English Translation
"The people (who gave the Pledge of allegiance) under the Tree numbered 1300 and the number of Bani Aslam was 1/8 of the Emigrants." This tradition was followed by Muhammad bin Bashar, narrated by Abu Dawud Tayyalsi, and Shuba narrated it from him.

درخت والوں ( بیعت رضوان کرنے والوں ) کی تعداد تیرہ سو تھی۔ قبیلہ اسلم مہاجرین کا آٹھواں حصہ تھے۔ اس روایت کی متابعت محمد بن بشار نے کی ‘ ان سے ابوداؤد طیالسی نے بیان کیا اور ان سے شعبہ نے۔

وَقَالَ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُعَاذٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي أَوْفَى ـ رضى الله عنهما ـ كَانَ أَصْحَابُ الشَّجَرَةِ أَلْفًا وَثَلاَثَمِائَةٍ، وَكَانَتْ أَسْلَمُ ثُمْنَ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ. تَابَعَهُ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ.
