Sahih Bukhari 4025 – English Translation
"I heard `Urwa bin Az-Zubair. Sa`id bin Al-Musaiyab, 'Alqama bin Waqqas and 'Ubaidullah bin `Abdullah each narrating part of the narrative concerning `Aisha رضی اللہ عنہا the wife of the Prophet. `Aisha رضی اللہ عنہا said: When I and Um Mistah رضی اللہ عنہا were returning, Um Mistah رضی اللہ عنہا stumbled by treading on the end of her robe, and on that she said, 'May Mistah be ruined.' I said, 'You have said a bad thing, you curse a man who took part in the battle of Badri Companion? Then she narrated the whole episode of calumny."
Sahih Bukhari 4025 – Urdu Translation
میں نے عروہ بن زبیر، سعید بن مسیب، علقمہ بن وقاص اور عبیداللہ بن عبداللہ سے نبی کریم صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی زوجہ مطہرہ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا کی تہمت کے متعلق سنا۔ ان میں سے ہر ایک نے مجھ سے اس واقعہ کا کوئی حصہ بیان کیا۔ عائشہ رضی اللہ عنہا نے بیان کیا تھا کہ میں اور ام مسطح باہر قضائے حاجت کو جا رہے تھے کہ ام مسطح رضی اللہ عنہا اپنی چادر میں الجھ کر پھسل پڑیں۔ اس پر ان کی زبان سے نکلا، مسطح کا برا ہو۔ میں نے کہا، آپ نے اچھی بات نہیں کہی۔ ایک ایسے شخص کو آپ برا کہتی ہیں جو بدر میں شریک ہو چکا ہے۔ پھر انہوں نے تہمت کا واقعہ بیان کیا۔

حَدَّثَنَا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ مِنْهَالٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ النُّمَيْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الزُّهْرِيَّ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عُرْوَةَ بْنَ الزُّبَيْرِ، وَسَعِيدَ بْنَ الْمُسَيَّبِ، وَعَلْقَمَةَ بْنَ وَقَّاصٍ، وَعُبَيْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ، عَنْ حَدِيثِ، عَائِشَةَ ـ رضى الله عنها ـ زَوْجِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم كُلٌّ ـ حَدَّثَنِي طَائِفَةً مِنَ الْحَدِيثِ ـ قَالَتْ فَأَقْبَلْتُ أَنَا وَأُمُّ مِسْطَحٍ فَعَثَرَتْ أُمُّ مِسْطَحٍ فِي مِرْطِهَا فَقَالَتْ تَعِسَ مِسْطَحٌ. فَقُلْتُ بِئْسَ مَا قُلْتِ، تَسُبِّينَ رَجُلاً شَهِدَ بَدْرًا فَذَكَرَ حَدِيثَ الإِفْكِ.
